Writing and Waiting

A few weeks have passed since my last post but between my two year old, essays and tests I lose track of time. I have had noticed something since starting school, waiting for the results of an essay or assignment are as stressful as completing them. I think we spend almost as much time studying as we do checking for our grades. Maybe they should offer a course in patience to students? I am the same way I get so nervous. I have two assignments out there in the web CT world I have to go check it’s been 20 minutes maybe she posted?????

Okay so I am posting twice in one day this is a first. I just finished writing my first refelctive paper and I can honestly say it was harder than I expected. It took me almost a solid week to write. Talking about your feeling is not as easy as people think, even harder when you have to follow a model of reflection. All well all assignments have a purpose and I did learn somethings about my nursing practice. I have to hand it in tommorow, I hope I do well.

Who am I?

Hello,
Let me introduce myself my name is Jennifer. I am a 30 year old RPN to BScN student. I have worked in geriatrics for 7 years and have returned to school to work in pediatrics. I have a husband who is also a nurse and a wonderful 2 year old son. In my spare time, not that I have much right now, I teach scrapbooking and card making classes. I have started this blog for an assignment in my information and communications class. I hope to be able to share with you my perspective as a nursing student who is already a nurse. Sounds funny doesn’t it. I hope you enjoy reading it and feel free to leave me your comments.
