Resources from a nursing perspective.

The focus of my blog may be a personal issue but I still think it can be useful to nurses. Sometimes we have clients who may ask us where they can go for help with their concerns about their children, it is nice to know where to refer them. One of the most difficult things about getting help is being about to access the proper resources. It would reduce a lot of stress if we could direct them in the right location.

Hi Jennifer,
I think your focus on your blog is great!! I know several people who jump through many loops before finding the right help they are looking for, especially when it comes to children.
Here is a suggestion, I noticed you asked Brenda for contact names for people who need to talk. You and your husband could consider moving to Peterborough....@#$%! there are many resources including
Five Counties Children Centre (705 748-2221). It is a wonderful resource for children with development problems. I have friends who work there. Peterborough gives you a small town feeling and you still have all the amenities. Both you and your husband work as nurses and we have just opened, in June, a brand new hospital. We just had a couple who moved here from down east husband and wife, they walked into full time jobs in emerge. I know you are in school right now and this wouldn't be the time to make any major decision like this but, I know lots of families in Peterborough that I could hook you up with, and Peterborough is a wonderful place to raise a family. Food for thought!!!!
P.S Of course there are all kinds of resources everywhere, I was just thinking out loud!! Please don't be offended by my suggestions. I just think you are such a nice person and I see how important your family is to you, and I just thought Peterborough would suit you.
